Jewelry Trends 2021

The new year brings hope, promise and of course lots of great new trends in jewelry. It is so fun to go into the new year being open to new styles and changing up your look. Brook & york is always on the forefront of the latest jewelry trends as well as offering last forever classics. This season we are excited about some of the new ideas in accessorizing.

Texture is a big thing for 2021. While we love our smooth cuffs and pendants, sometimes we just want to take it up a notch.  Details like fluting, ridged edges and herringbone etching add another dimension of style to necklaces, pendants and rings. The Lex Cuff bracelet is a total statement piece with its geometric design and wider width. Sport it alone or with another delicate style. We are also loving the Lucy Extra Thin Ring. Its bamboo inspired details and angular edges make it cooler than a basic band. We love it on its own or with a stack of other rings. Our Parker Knot Earrings also pack on the texture with their knotted design. They take a pair of simple studs and give them a bit of edge. Some of our classic designs also get a fresh perspective from just a touch of texture. Our Charlie Pendant is a classic disc-shaped pendant at first glance, but the gold braided trim and longer length make it a fashion forward option for everyday.

Layering remains a huge trend for the new year. The more the merrier continues to be the mantra for fashion girls everywhere. Armfuls of bracelets, layers of necklaces and a strong ring game is an easy way to amp up your everyday look. Our Stella Layering Set is an easy way to achieve a cool layered look. A mixed media choker and a pendant necklace come together perfectly without looking too matchy-matchy. There is even room to add one more if you want to be extra bold. For a bracelet stack we are all about mixing textures, sizes and even colors. Start with something classic like the Collette chain link bracelet in yellow gold, add a thin bangle bracelet in a rose gold and finish the look with the Stella Pearl Toggle Bracelet in silver. This mix of color, texture and size creates a harmonious stack that will garner plenty of complements. Our stackable rings are an easy and fun way to layer. Many of our rings feature artful designs like stones and texture that make them statement pieces on their own. We love the look of our Liv Rope Ring, Holly Pearl Ring, with its bold pearl stones, and the simple Maren Extra Thin Ring. The effect of this combo is totally cool-girl worthy. Layering is a great way to express your personal style. You are the stylist and the look you create will be 100% authentically you.

Personalization also remains a strong trend for the new year.  Brook & york jewelry features modern and cool personalized styles that are not found everywhere else. We have classic styles that are eternally timeless and ones that are more modern and outside of the box. The Sofia Spaced Name Necklace is a fresh way to rock a nameplate. Hanging letters creates a unique look that stands out on its own or can be layered with a simple choker. If you don’t want to rock your own name, use one of someone who is near and dear to your heart. Name rings have also become a popular trend. The Nella Rope Nameplate Ring is a new option that offers a script name with a rope-textured band. The mix of personalization and cool texture is a must have for the new year. Personalized styles with extra details are also a hot trend. Our Chelsea Charm bracelet features a rose-colored border on the pendant for a touch of soft color. The Hannah Birthstone Namebar Necklace also offers a unique take on the nameplate with its custom birthstone details. This truly takes personalized jewelry to the next level.

Flaunt something new this year. Add an extra necklace, rock a nameplate or simply deck your fingers with bold rings. Think outside the box with your personal style and of course have fun accessorizing with plenty of stylish jewelry.
